If alpaca ownership appeals to you and you don’t currently own any land then alpaca agistment could be just for you.

 

What is agistment? This is very similar to a livery service where you can own your alpacas but keep them with us and we look after them for a small fee.

​

Agistment can provide a “learning period” for you to feel comfortable with alpaca handling and husbandry. Since alpacas cannot be kept on their own, agisting can also enable your herd to begin with a single alpaca, which will be relaxed in one of our friendly groups relevant to his or her age.

You may already own your own alpacas and be looking for a farm with the right facilities to home them on.

Here at Fellside we are ideally located to acceptable travelling distances from Tyneside, Northumberland, County Durham and Cumbria making the chance to own these amazing animals that much more feasible if you don’t currently own your own land.
